“I think this negative talk about MAGA is going to hurt Biden’s election campaign,” Dimon said from the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

Dimon argued that using the phrase “MAGA” incorrectly links Trump’s supporters to the former president’s personality and character.

“Take a step back, be honest. He was kind of right about NATO, kind of right on immigration. He grew the economy quite well. Trade tax reform worked. He was right about some of China.”

“He wasn’t wrong about some of these critical issues, and that’s why they voted for him,” Dimon said."

I could see why a MAGA voter wouldn't want President Joe Biden do denigrate the MAGA movement or Donald Trump. I could also see why Libertarians wouldn't want Republicans and Democrats to denigrate Ron Paul. I could see why Socialists and even Communists, wouldn't run mainstream Democrats to denigrate Bernie Sanders. I could also see why fish wouldn't want to give up water and why tax drivers wouldn't want to give up driving, why lawyers wouldn't want to give their law licenses, etc. But I don't think this is the point.

MAGA is not going to vote for anyone whose not in their movement. And when Donald Trump is not on the ballot, they don't vote that much at all anyway, at least in swing states and districts. Or at the very least, they hurt either mainstream Republicans who either feel the need to appeal to MAGA, even to win in swing districts or states. Or just hurt the Republican Party in general, when a MAGA candidate wins the Republican nomination to run statewide in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and other states and districts in the U.S. House and at the legislative level, where mainstream Republicans normally win, but where the Republican Party has lost in recent years, because their candidate was a MAGA member.

MAGA is not going to vote for President Biden and probably any Democrat whose up for reelection in Congress in 2024. That shouldn't be breaking news to anyone. The Biden Campaign and their supporters in Congress, are going to run against Donald Trump and MAGA movement, but not in the Hillary Clinton way where you just call them losers and horrible people. 

The Biden Democrats are going to run against MAGA as threats to American democracy and the rule of law and try to make the case for that. While trying to appeal on policy grounds, as well as American democracy grounds, to Democrats, Independents that they have to have. As well as mainstream Republicans who want MAGA to go to way so they can take their party back from MAGA.
