Ben Meiselas: 'Donald Trump’s Lawyer EATS HER OWN WORDS at Federal Trial as SHE CRUMBLES'

"MeidasTouch host Ben Meiselas reports on how Donald Trump’s lawyer Alina Habba recently said she’d rather be pretty than smart since she can “fake” being smart, but now in the federal defamation trial where she is serving as lead trial counsel she has been unable to fake it at all."

"She went on to say she was a traditional Middle Eastern woman who cooks and cleans and knows how to “turn it off” while at home with her husband.

“Somebody said to me, ‘Alina would you rather be smart or pretty?’ And I said, ‘Oh, easy, pretty. You can fake being smart,'” she added.

“Listen, you have to be honest,” she continues. “It doesn’t hurt to be good-looking in this world.”

From what I said about Alina Habba back in November: 

"Alina Habba is not really a trial lawyer. She can barely afford to do whatever she does as a lawyer right now. She's more of a public relations lawyer, if anything at all, who makes her living trying her client's cases on TV and on social media. But she's officially Donald Trump's civil lawyer right now because she's about the best of what's left to try to defend him, because of his own financial situation and all the evidence that's against him right now, in multiple cases. 

Perhaps one of the reasons right now that Alina Habba owes millions of dollars, is because her own client is not paying her. But she's trying to work for him anyway, perhaps banking on the fact that defending a former President of the United States, would lead to clients who can and would pay her very well for her legal advice and actions in the future. But that career strategy is obviously not working out for her right now."

Alina Habba went on to say: "Look, that's the honest truth. And I'm sure there will be some Washington Post article or The Daily Beast, my favorite. But listen, you have to be honest. It doesn't hurt to be good looking in this world, the PR world or on TV. When you are good looking, that's great, but it can also mean that you are stupid, or President Trump just hired me because I'm good looking. And that's not true."

I'll give you an idea what it's like to write about Alina Habba. Imagine being a boxer and you are always fighting someone who doesn't even bother to try to defend themself. Or, you are playing a football every week, that can't even catch punts and kickoffs right and are always fumbling them. The QB is always dropping the snap, the RB always fumbles the handoff, the offensive lineman never lines up correctly and always forgets the snap count, the defenders tackle each other, instead of the offensive players, etc. 

I mean, if there was professional expansion team of lawyers, Alina Habba would be the first and last pick on the team, as well as every other pick in between. Because this expansion team would want to be as bad and unprofessional as possible. That's Alina Habba as a defense lawyer. 

And if Alina Habba was just some Jane Doe, or Jane Jones defense lawyer, whose just out of law school, working in Wheeling, West Virginia or some place, trying to defend suspected jaywalkers or something, her unprofessionalism would never make the news. Perhaps a small paragraph in the local newspaper or something. But she's supposed to be working for a former President of the United States, whose on trial in multiple cases. Which is why her unprofessionalism is in the news almost everyday, because she doesn't seem to be able to get though a day, without shooting one of her toes off, or punching herself in the face.
