Source:Jesse Dollemore talking about President Donald J. Trump's (MAGA, Florida) really bad day at church. |

From what conservative podcaster/blogger Joe Walsh said about this yesterday:
"It should have been obvious awhile ago, but Trump’s Republican Party doesn’t believe in free speech."

From what U.S. Representative Mike Collins said about this yesterday:
"The person giving this sermon should be added to the deportation list."
If your daily diet consists of nothing but meth, heroin, alcohol, pot, and red bull... first of all, your daily diet would only have days to live because that would kill you pretty quickly. But if you have Superman's immune system or something and you can do that, then maybe you are so far out in outer space (also known as MAGA Land) that you are crazy, dumb, or high enough (perhaps all those things) to believe that the modern Republican Party is the party of law & order, family values, free speech, freedom of religion, and the U.S. Constitution.
And there are 77 million people who did vote for Donald Trump. So one might think based on what I just said that the we have a meth heads, pot heads, alcoholics, etc, perhaps escaped mental patients who never got caught and are still living freely in society.
But for the rest of us who still believe in reason, intelligence, and facts, even the some of Donald Trump's voters who simply voted for him to make the cost of living more affordable in America, knowing about all his personal baggage and who believe that he really is a bad guy, but our form of government would be able to contain him, all these people know better.
You don't make the statement that Representative Collins did, if you believe in free speech and freedom of religion, and the U.S. Constitution.
You don't believe in the rule of law and law & order, if you either pardoned the Jan 6. insurrectionists, who killed 5 police officers and injured 140 others, or you support those pardons. Or you have nothing to say about them other than: "This was President Trump's decision", which. basically what Speaker Mike Johnson said about them.
And you don't believe in family values if you support taking away the American citizenship of millions of Americans, simply because their parents entered the country illegally. You also don't believe in the Constitution, if you believe the President of the United States can throw out the 14th Amendment through executive order, or at least can amend 1 of our constitutional amendments, simply through executive order.
Joe Walsh probably knows this as well as me: the modern Republican Party (which is the Republican Party in name only) is no loner a conservative party. They haven't been at least since President George W. Bush left The White House in January, 2009. This party nominating Donald Trump for President in 2016, just made all of that obvious.
We don't have a conservative party anymore. We have two parties that have Conservatives, as well as Liberals in it. The party in power today is a right-wing, nationalistic, political cult, that's in the business to protect and promote Donald Trump and his allies. Nothing more. But perhaps a lot less.
