I don't agree with Ana Navarro very often. Come to think of it, it's hard for me to ever believe that she was even a registered Republican, let alone an active Republican who used to work for Republicans and help them get elected and reelected, based on how she's talked the last 8 years or so. But she has a great political sense of humor and political timing. And when she says something that I agree with, I take note of it. Here she was on The View today talking about President Trump's mass deportations in Chicago:
"I've actually seen some video this weekend of Latinos who voted for Trump crying because now their abuelos and their tios are getting deported, I'm having a very hard time mustering up sympathy for those people," Ana Navarro said on the talk show."

Apparently these Fox News commentators think the average American, is just some yuppy, coffee addict, who's addicted to their local coffee houses, who needs to spend more time at home making their own coffee. As well as perhaps buying their own farms and growing their own coffee beans, for their own personal use:
"Fox News hosts suggests America could just adapt to Trump's trade wars by making our own coffee."
From Barbara Sobel
My point here is, if Donald Trump and his supporters were talking like this back in.... I don't know, September and October, (just to name a couple of months from the calendar) and Mr. Trump and his backers were saying that life would be harder for average Americans if they got elected again, but it would be worth it in the end, do you think that would've cost Mr. Trump some votes?
As President Obama said back in 2009: elections have consequences.
To paraphrase the great political satirist George Carlin: we get the politicians that we voted for. The only qualification being there, is we get who we voted for when they win.
Donald Trump ran on mass deportations and tariffs in 2024 and even admitted that he wouldn't be able to bring prices down very quickly after he was elected.
As President Trump told Fox News anchor Sean Hannity on Wednesday night:
“Let me get to the economy,” Hannity interrupted. “I’m running out of time.”
“I don’t care,” Trump fired back as he continued to rail against Biden.
“They’re yelling at me,” Hannity said, presumably referring to his producers.
“This is more important,” Trump insisted.
“I agree,” Hannity replied.
“The economy’s gonna do great,” Trump said, then went back to attacking Biden.
Trump also hinted that he may have some time for retribution after all...

So, look, I'm with Ana Navarro on this 1. I would just expand to more issues and the economy as a whole. Latinos and Arabs who voted for Donald Trump for President in 2024, who are now perhaps regretting that... I have as much sympathy for those people, as people who buy a used Ford Escort, that has 25,000 miles on it, who thinks this car will be as good as a brand new Cadillac, because that's what the used car salesman told him. Only to see his Ford Escort break down on him a mile down the road from the car lot. When we don't do our homework and study for tests in school, we tend to fail.(I know that from personal experience)
When we don't do our homework as American citizens and especially as voters, but vote anyway, we get screwed by crooks and liars who just say things to get elected and reelected, never even having any intention of doing what they said they would do in office.
Kamala Harris and the Democrats offered American voters a clear alternative in who to vote for in 2024 and then the voters when the other way anyway. Even though they made it clear how criminal, dictatorial, corrupt, and dishonest that Donald Trump and MAGA is. So don't blame us for your bad decisions as voters.
