To try to give you some idea (as small as it might be) about how politically, historically, and constitutionally ignorant Donald J. Trump is when it comes to the United State of America and our form of government: he simply ran for President of the wrong country back in 2016. 

Donald Trump had only been President for less than a month when he said that NBC News should get their Federal Communications License repealed, simply because they were producing stories about him that were negative.

That same month of March in 2017, his first Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who was one of the first Congressional Republicans to endorse Mr. Trump for President in 2016 and the first U.S. Senator as well, recuses himself from the Department of Justice Russian interference investigation of the 2016 presidential election. Why? Because then Senator Sessions was a member for the Trump Campaign and working to see that Mr. trump gets elected President of the United States. 

So then President Trump then responds by saying that his Attorney General shouldn't have recused himself, because the Attorney General is supposed to be his own lawyer, that DOJ is like his personal law firm and that he can order DOJ to do whatever he wants to do. 

Donald Trump sees himself as a dictator. He's not, yet. But that's the kind of power that he believes that he has. He thinks he has the same power in America, as any third world or somewhat developed world dictator, like the King of Saudi Arabia, or the Vladimir Putin has in Russia, the President of Turkey, etc. And when someone stands up to him and says no to him, or tries to hold them accountable simply for doing their jobs, which hurt him and make him look bad, he treats them like traitors to Donald J. Trump, who should be locked up.
