The 1968 Jets were a solid team, but not a great team loaded with Hall of Famers all across the board. They only had two that I know of, QB Joe Namath, obviously one of the top five to ten quarterbacks of all time, and, of course, WR Don Maynard, one of the best receivers of all time. This team was not loaded with great players at every position but had a lot of very good players at every position as well as a lot of depth and a great head coach in Weeb Ewbank.
