President Joe Biden Takes Responsibility For Donald Trump's Reelection

"Former Pres. Biden Says He 'Takes Responsibility' For Pres. Trump's Reelection: 'I Was In Charge'"

Source:The View talking to former President Joseph R. Biden (Democrat, Delaware) 46th President of the United States.

From The View

"Former president Joe Biden sat down for his first TV interview since leaving office on “The View” Thursday morning, and when asked if he takes any responsibility for Donald Trump’s reelection, he offered a direct answer: yes.

“Yes, I do,” he said. “Because, look, I was in charge and he won. So, you know, I take responsibility.”

From what I wrote about this back in December:

"Remember then citizen Joe Biden promising not to run for President in 2020:

"Former Vice President Joe Biden’s top advisers and prominent Democrats outside the Biden campaign have recently revived a long-running debate whether Biden should publicly pledge to serve only one term, with Biden himself signaling to aides that he would serve only a single term.

While the option of making a public pledge remains available, Biden has for now settled on an alternative strategy: quietly indicating that he will almost certainly not run for a second term while declining to make a promise that he and his advisers fear could turn him into a lame duck and sap him of his political capital.

According to four people who regularly talk to Biden, all of whom asked for anonymity to discuss internal campaign matters, it is virtually inconceivable that he will run for reelection in 2024, when he would be the first octogenarian president.

“If Biden is elected,” a prominent adviser to the campaign said, “he’s going to be 82 years old in four years and he won’t be running for reelection.”

Even by October, 2023, it would've been too late for President Biden to drop out. But it would've been better than dropping out 6 months ago:

"Bill Maher called on Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential election, saying the 80-year-old incumbent is too old to run for president and likened him to the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The host of “Real Time with Bill Maher” mocked Biden on Friday night, describing the president as the “only democrat who can lose to Trump,” despite the men only having a four-year age difference.

“Someone has to convince President Biden that if he runs again, he’s going to turn the country back over to Trump and go… down in history as Ruth Bader Biden, the person who doesn’t know when to quit and so does great damage to their party and their country,” Maher said, referring to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Ginsburg notoriously decided to not retire during the Obama administration when she could have been replaced with a liberal justice, only to die at the age of 87 in September 2020 during the Trump administration."

I don't agree with comedian Bill Maher on everything. But when he's right, he's damn right. (You put that stronger) And he called it in October, 2023:

"The issue with President Biden isn’t if he will be replaced - it's who will replace him."

To put it simply: if President Biden announced let's say by April, 2023, that he promised not to run for reelection in 3-1/2 years a go to assure voters that he would pass the torch (so to speak) and because it was time "for a new generation of leadership", the Democratic Party would've had a full primary season and Vice President Kamala Harris probably wins the nomination anyway. And she would've been my preferred candidate right out of the gate. And all those townhalls, those debates, those TV interviews, that she didn't want to do this summer and to a certain extent this fall, all those things would've been taken care of during late 2023 and early 2024.

And it's not just that President Biden broke his promise not to run for reelection. It's why he did that is even worst, his lack of reasoning for it. He made it about the economy and that he was the only person up to task of bringing down the high cost of living. When the fact is he knew damn well that his background as a public servant is not economics. He made his carer in Congress as a foreign policy and national security expert. As well as criminal justice and the Constitution. Not economic policy...

From what Ederik Schneider wrote about this in April:

"But as Erik Schneider said, had President Biden simply kept his promise to to a one-term President and announced like in April of 2023, that he wasn't running for reelection, he might not have been an issue in 2024, at all. Because whoever the new Democratic nominee would be, that person would have had about a year or so to introduce themself to the country and lay out exactly what they want to do as President and not have to worry about what the President thinks of their agenda. And Vice President Harris might have won the nomination anyway.

We'll never know this because the people around the President, who knew he was struggling mentally and had low energy, didn't have the courage, the character, to either tell the President that he shouldn't run for reelection and why, or at the least leak what they know about his physical and mental conditions, or resign and go public with what they know about him.

You think Democratic donors would've been backing the President the way they did, financially, up until his debate, if they knew he was struggling to remember names of people he knew very well, struggling just to get through his work schedule, physically, getting stuck in-between thoughts when trying to speak? Of course not. If they knew this 2 years ago, if the public knew as well, the Democratic leadership, even, would've called for the President not to run for reelection...

So I give President Biden credit for at least acknowledging that he's somewhat responsible for the American nightmare (also known as President Donald Trump) returning to The White House as President again. Rare, if ever, that you even hear a former politician take any responsibility for anything that goes wrong on his or her watch, especially when they're an executive. It's like seeing people jumping out of air conditioners, flying rattlesnakes with wings... you almost feel like you have to be high on meth to see any of those things. Especially even a former politician take any responsibility for anything bad happening on their watch, especially an executive. So I give President Biden credit for that.

But the problem here is (and you can rewatch the interview with The View) it's what he's taken responsibility for. He's taking credit for doing all these things like the infrastructure, the research and development, the prescription drugs, the jobs and economic growth, etc. But the only problem was (according to President Biden) that these benefits come later before Americans can feel them and his administration (perhaps including the President) didn't do a good enough job of selling the benefits of what they were doing.

So on 1 hand President Biden is taking responsibility for the fact that he was too unpopular to even run for reelection, but then he's sort of qualifying that concession by saying it's the voters fault for not seeing the benefits if what he and his administration were doing. But that's more than Donald Trump would give you when he screws up, or any other crooked politician.

Had President Biden said something like:

"Opening the border was a big mistake. We should've kept it close and kept arresting illegals to enter the country illegally. While at the same time I try to get a deal with Congress on a broader immigration package, to deal with the current illegal immigrants, who are only here to work and make a better life for themselves, but who aren't criminals. And we should've done more early on, especially in the 2021 economic package to fix the supply chain and increase economic production, before inflation could become the problem that it became in 2022."

Had President Biden taken full responsibility for why he was so unpopular, (trying to run for reelection with a 36% job approval) along the lines I've suggested, he would've earned a new respect from me as Liberal Democrat, who voted for him in 2020, who comes from the same Scoop Jackson/JFK wing of the Democratic Party, that Joe Biden comes from, because then it would be clear that he gets it. Instead of tying to qualify anything that was bad that happened on his watch.

Representative Jasmine Crocket Gets Backlash From The Left For Her Hot Mess

"Robby Soave and Lynda Tran react to "The View" hosts scolding Rep. Jasmine Crockett  (D-T.X) over her comments about Texas Governor Greg Abbott."

Source:The Hill with a look at U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett (Democrat, Texas)

From The Hill

"Backlash Over Rep. Crockett's Gov. Abbott Comments"

Source:The View with a look at U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett (Democrat, Texas)

From The View

U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett's (Democrat, Texas) own words about Government Greg Abbot:

“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there,” Crockett said. “And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot (expletive) mess, honey.”

And then Representative Crockett trying to clean up the manure she dumped in the kitchen. This is why you never let your horse into your house. You can imagine how well that went:

"I wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition—I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors, deliberately stoking tension and fear among the most vulnerable," Crockett wrote on X."

From USA Today

Just yesterday The New Democrat on social media was talking about who Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham was talking about how The White House was handling Signal Gate: "Seriously: even freakin Laura Ingraham is asking questions like: “How did a journalist get added to a Signal group chat among top Trump officials discussing a U.S. military strike on Houthi rebels in Yemen?" When even Fox News knows MAGA is screwing up... you know they screwed up."

And now today, The View (which is like MSNBC daytime in the primetime) is talking about how Representative Crockett screwed up in how she not just got caught mocking Governor Greg Abbott (Republican, Texas) who is a paraplegic, but how she tried to explain her comment and tried to deny what she knew she did.

Representative Crockett saying she didn't know Governor Abbot was a paraplegic... imagine being caught on video tape trying to walk out with a coat at a department store, or something and of course you get caught doing that and your response is something like: "That wasn't me. That must have been my twin". And you don't even have a twin. I mean she's from Texas too:

Does she ever go home?

Does she ever look at the media there?

I'm willing to bet she's at least met Governor Abbot at some point. Did she think he was too lazy to stand up or something?

When intelligent people fall in ditches, they tend to pick themselves up and climb out of the ditch. But in Jasmine Crockett's case, she decides that since she's already in the ditch, she might as well try to dig for gold, or something.

Do you really need any other reason why The New Democrat for the last month now has endorsed James Carville's political approach of strategic rope-a-dope and counterpunch?

Let the Republican Party be the Republican Party of the Marjorie T. Greene's and Lauren Boebert's, who can only get any political publicity at all, when they make a break for the wall and escape their political asylum's and do something crazy on the street. They're the party of Donald Trump and his political reality TV show The Keystone Cops At The White House.

The Democratic Party is supposed to be the party of the people. Not the crazy people. The people who work hard, play by the rules, trying to get ahead in life. Not trying to make life harder for good, intelligent, responsible, hard-working Americans. As James Carville said:

"Allow the Republicans to crumble beneath their own weight, and make the American people miss us. Only until the Trump administration has spiraled into the low 40s or high 30s in public approval polling percentages should we make like a pack of hyenas and go for the jugular. Until then, I’m calling for a strategic political retreat," he wrote.

With no clear leader to voice our opposition and no control in any branch of government, it’s time for Democrats to embark on the most daring political maneuver in the history of our party: roll over and play dead," the strategist continued...

Alexandria O. Cortez & Bernie Sanders Lead The Democratic Left

"Politics, like life, is all about timing.

The best politicians understand this.

Take Barack Obama. Sure, he was only elected to the Senate in 2004. And he said, repeatedly, he wouldn’t run for president in 2008. But, he saw his moment. He took it. And he won two terms as president.

Or, to cite the opposite example, Hillary Clinton passed on running for president in 2004 — believing she would be the de facto Democratic nominee in an open-seat fight in 2008. She would have likely won the Democratic nod in ‘04 and had a very good chance to beat a struggling President George W. Bush. She passed. And then lost in 2008 to Barack Obama. And never became president.

Which brings me to New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. And the speaking tour she did last week alongside Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. Here’s the crowd they drew in Denver:

That’s 34,000 people. Which is pretty amazing given a) it’s 2025 and there’s no election for 600+ days b) Democrats are not exactly kicking ass and taking names these days.

On the heels of that speaking tour, the New York Times is out with a new piece asking a key question: What does AOC want to do next?

Here’s the best bit:

Interviews with nearly 20 progressive Democrats about the left wing’s future revealed a faction that sees the ideas Mr. Sanders has championed — reducing the power of billionaires, increasing the minimum wage, focusing more on the plight of workers — as core to the next generation of mainstream Democratic politics.

Though there is little agreement about who will emerge to guide progressives into a post-Sanders era, virtually everyone interviewed said there was one clear leader for the job: Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York.

Correct.

The story goes on to outline three possible future moves for AOC:

Stay in the House and become as committee chair if Democrats win back the majority

Run for Senate in 2028 — either against Chuck Schumer or for an open seat if he retires

Run for president in 2028

To me, this is a no-brainer: AOC should run for president.

There is clearly a lane for a liberal populist — someone in the mold of Sanders who, I would like to remind you, came pretty damn close to winning the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.

And Sanders, at 83 years old, is not going to run for president again. This speaking tour, in fact, seems very much like a informal handing off of the baton to AOC.

Would AOC win the Democratic nomination? Who knows! And would she be the most electable Democrat in a general election? I doubt it but, also, who knows!

The future is uncertain. Timing is everything. And I think 2028 is shaping up to be a wide-open race for the Democratic presidential nomination where a figure like AOC would absolutely have a fighting chance to win.

Does she agree?

From The View: "Hostin joins executive producer Brian Teta to discuss meeting with thought leaders about what Democratic voters want, what she would change about Sen. Bernie Sanders and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's message as they host rallies drawing massive crowds, and the highlights from visiting her daughter at college over the weekend."

From The View

The New Democrat has been very clear on where it stands on the James Carville vs Bernie & AOC debate about how the Democratic should act as the opposition party in this country:

"See, whatever you think of what Leigh McGown is proposing here, it's the wrong approach, even if you like what she's proposing. At least the politics of it, even if you agree with her ideas. What she's talking about is proposing an alternative to what House Republicans are trying to jam through the House right now, but seem to be short on votes.

I'm with James Carville on this:

When you see your arch-enemy is drowning in the ocean. don't throw them a lifeline. Let them drown.

When you see your arch enemy's house is on fire and no one is there to do anything about it, don't even offer to spit on the fire, let alone dump your own water on it, or call 911. Just let the house burn down...

"When you see your arch-enemy is drowning in the ocean. don't throw them a lifeline. Let them drown.

When you see your arch enemy's house is on fire and no one is there to do anything about it, don't even offer to spit on the fire, let alone dump your own water on it, or call 911. Just let the house burn down.

Let MAGA burn our national house down. Hopefully they don't destroy the country. But don't help them do that, or try to get in their way, outside of what's going on in the courts and at the state level. Show American voters this is exactly who you voted for and the consequences of that fateful decision. And tell them and show them there's a better way on the campaign trail and why you deserve to be in power again."

"Just when I think CNN is almost completely useless: they show a conversation that is really at the heart of the Democratic Party right now: which direction should they be moving in and how to combat Donald Trump and his MAGA movement. And the two sides represented here: The James Carville's and the AOC's.

The Carville's representing the political rope-a-dope strategy of strategic, political counter-punching.

And the AOC's who want to burn the house down and not so much concern with who gets burned in the process, just as long as the house gets burned down, so they can rebuild the Democratic Party in their left-wing, militant, socialist, badass, image, and perhaps take over the government as well...

I'm going to respond to what Sunny Hostin told Brian Teta about what the Democratic Party should be doing as well. But my first point is a quick response to Chris Cilliza and then I'll get into what they are both saying here. Warning! This might offend a few WOKE tight asses.

Hearing Chris Cilliza talk about American leftists (people he still calls Liberals) reminds of an America before it became cool to be gay and gay men and lesbians were still in the closet, even if they were queens and dykes in private.

Neither Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, the rest of The Squad in Congress, a lot of the left-wing in House Democratic Caucus, are closeted Socialists. They've been out for 10 years now if not longer. You can call them Socialists (perhaps they would prefer to be called Democratic Socialists) and you won't offend them or have to worry about being sued over that.

Both Bernie and AOC are members of the Democratic Socialists of America. Bernie Sanders represents the self-proclaimed Socialist Republic of Vermont. The door of their political closet has not just been open for the last... 35 years (in Bernie's case) and last 7 (In AOC's case) but they took the door down and that closet is no longer there. And yet the Chris Cillizz'a of the world and a lot of the rest of the mainstream media feel the need to call hardcore leftists, "Liberals", even though liberalism is way to the right of socialism ideologically.

So back to this Carville vs Bernie and AOC debate in the Democratic Party:

The Democratic Left (meaning Democratic Socialists) want the Democratic leadership to be their own version of Mitch McConnell. As Sunny Hostin said last week in talking to Senate Minority Leader (and I'm paraphrasing here) that:

"Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump burned the old playbook as far as how political leaders from other parties relate to each other. And it's now time for Democrats to be as partisan as McConnell and Trump because of that. It worked for them. So it would work for us". That's basically what she's saying here.

Every time the Left of the Democratic Party talks about how the leadership should lead, you know why they're not in leadership.

To use a sports analogy: just because a team wins the Super Bowl by using a certain style of offense and defense, doesn't mean that if you decide to run that exact same offense and defense the following season, that you'll win the Super Bowl as well. Especially if you didn't even make the playoffs the year before.

In football you have to run the offense and defense that best fits the personal that you have, in order to be successful. Very similar in politics: you have to use the political tactics and strategy that best fit you party and your members... your voters.

American voters elect Democrats to protect their entitlement programs, to keep the government running, to empower the middle class to move forward, etc. The Democratic Party is supposed to be the party of progress, not obstruction. At least if you are a mainstream Democrat and you are not just a registered Democrat to have a voice in a major political party, instead of trying to run third-party with the Socialist Greens, to get elected. Like, I don't know... Bernie Sanders, Alex Cortez, and the rest of The Squad.

American voters elect Republicans to:

Shake things up

To hold the establishment accountable, so the elitists (means successful and intelligent Americans of all backgrounds) don't have too much power in America, Even if that means shutting down the government to advance their own political agenda.

So when you are the party of progress and that's why you get elected and reelected over and over, shutting down the government simply because you don't like the only government funding bill on the table, doesn't work for you politically. Republicans can get away with that politically, because they are viewed as the obstructionists, the party of no (to paraphrase Senator Tom Coburn) and that's why voters elect and reelect Republicans over and over as well.

Shutting down the government is not progressive, it's regressive. And its even worst when it's done by the Democrats, who are supposed to be the party of progress.

"American voters: we didn't elect the Democrats to shut down the government. That's what Republican do".

But voters expect that from the Republicans. And this is something the Democratic Left may never understand. Which would also explain why they're never in the leadership.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer VS The View

"Farah Griffin weighs in on the continued fallout over Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's decision to back the GOP spending bill and why she thinks government shutdowns are bad for everyone. Then, she reflects on her time working at the Pentagon and the White House and if she has any career regrets."

From The View

"Robby Soave and Marianne Williamson react to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's (D-N.Y.) media interviews explaining why he supported the recent Republican funding bill."

Source:The Hill talking about U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (Democrat, New York)

From The Hill

"Schumer responds to Democrats questioning his leadership after backing a Republican spending bill. He also discusses the relevance of his new book, "Antisemitism in America: A Warning."

From The View

The View panelist Sunny Hostin to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer:

“It gives me no pleasure to say this to you, because we are friends, but I think you caved,” Hostin said pointedly. “I think you and nine other Democrats caved. I don’t think you showed the fight that this party needs right now, because you’re playing by a rulebook where the other party has thrown that rulebook away.”

So, in my view, what you did really was, in supporting that GOP partisan bill the Democrats had no input in, you cleared the way for Donald Trump and Elon Musk to gut Social Security,” she said. “To gut Medicare, to gut Medicaid. Why did you lead Democratic senators to play by that book that the Republicans are not playing by."

Leader Schumer responding to Sunny Hostin:

“First I’d say, Sunny, no one wants to fight more than me, and no one fights more than me. We got to fight smart. It is not true — that bill had far less — it was bad, I hated it,” Schumer said. “But it does far less damage to — Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid are far more susceptible to being eliminated, which is what that horrible Musk — can you imagine this guy Musk, a billionaire, saying $1,100 for a senior citizen is not necessary? Or a Ponzi scheme?”

If you have two choices, one bad, the other devastating; one chops off one of your fingers, the other chops off your arm? So I want to fight, and we are fighting, we’re going to fight every day,” he explained."

Source:The View talking to U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (Democrat, New York)

From The View

The New Democrat has been very clear on Chuck Schumer's decision here:

"Any shutdown must end eventually. But in the aftermath, Trump and his bureaucratic goon Elon Musk could tell vast numbers of employees that they needn’t return to work, accelerating their plans to hollow out the federal government and embed MAGA loyalists in what remains of the civil service. In fact, WIRED reports, based on anonymous Republican sources, “that Musk has wanted a government shutdown … in part because it would potentially make it easier to eliminate the jobs of hundreds of thousands of federal workers, essentially achieving a permanent shutdown.” During shutdowns, employees deemed “nonessential” stay home. Musk, who has said anyone nonessential shouldn’t be in government, could use a shutdown to take advantage of any nonessential classifications.

The resist-everything-everywhere-all-at-once argument theoretically compels Democrats to filibuster so that their fingerprints aren’t on any legislation that abets the Trump-Musk plan. But a shutdown can abet it, too. Moreover, a shutdown would trigger a blame-game dynamic in which Republicans can shift blame from Musk’s rampage to Democrats for the increased dysfunction. No matter what Democrats do, they risk public ire...

If Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer made a mistake last week on this, it was indicating on Wednesday that he would try to block the bill until there was some bipartisan funding agreement that could be reached between Senate Democrats and Senate Republicans. But as I said about last Wednesday...

"I'm with James Carville on this:

When you see your arch-enemy is drowning in the ocean. don't throw them a lifeline. Let them drown.

When you see your arch enemy's house is on fire and no one is there to do anything about it, don't even offer to spit on the fire, let alone dump your own water on it, or call 911. Just let the house burn down.

Right now, Republicans control The White House and both chambers of Congress, not just the House and White House. They have everything, including the Senate and Supreme Court. They are in complete charge and completely responsible for the nation's welfare as far as what passes and what doesn't...

"Democratic strategist James Carville called on Democrats to make a "strategic political retreat" in a guest essay for The New York Times on Tuesday, telling members of his party "to play dead."

"With no clear leader to voice our opposition and no control in any branch of government, it’s time for Democrats to embark on the most daring political maneuver in the history of our party: roll over and play dead," the strategist continued.

"Carville compared his suggestion to a "tactical pause," and argued the Democrats needed to stop regularly playing defense against the Trump administration's actions.

"It’s a vision move — get out of the hour-to-hour, day-to-day combat where one side (ours) is largely playing defense and struggling to defend politically charged positions (like explaining D.E.I. or persuading voters to care about foreign aid), and take time to regroup, look forward and make decisions about where we want to get to over the next two years," Carville said.

He said Americans were likely not waiting around for lawmakers and commentators to make the same old arguments to criticize the president.

"They’re tired of it, and our Democratic voters are tired of watching us moan and groan to cover up our impotency out of power. They want us to be smarter than that," he added."

"Sen. Schumer tells 'The View' a government shutdown would have given the Trump administration the freedom to slash programs it views as nonessential, with little to no recourse for Democrats to pursue."

From The View

"I knew it was a difficult choice, and I knew I'd get a lot of criticism or my choice, but I felt as a leader I had to do it," Schumer told “The View” hosts.

I hate" the funding bill because it creates a "slush fund" for President Donald Trump, his adviser Elon Musk and Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought to "push around."

But a shutdown, Schumer said "would have devastation like we have never seen.”

It would have given the Trump administration the freedom to slash programs it views as nonessential, with little to no recourse for Democrats to pursue. Programs like Medicaid and SNAP or funding for mass transit could have been indiscriminately slashed, he said.

"You have two choices: one bad, the other devastating," Schumer said. "One chops off one of your fingers, the other chops off your arm.”

He said he was being "trolled" by Trump when the president congratulated him for passage of the bill on Trump’s Truth Social platform."

You can talk about Sunny Hostin's response all you want:

“It gives me no pleasure to say this to you, because we are friends, but I think you caved,” Hostin said pointedly. “I think you and nine other Democrats caved. I don’t think you showed the fight that this party needs right now, because you’re playing by a rulebook where the other party has thrown that rulebook away.”

So, in my view, what you did really was, in supporting that GOP partisan bill the Democrats had no input in, you cleared the way for Donald Trump and Elon Musk to gut Social Security,” she said. “To gut Medicare, to gut Medicaid. Why did you lead Democratic senators to play by that book that the Republicans are not playing by. "

But no one on The View had a response for why Leader Schumer did what he did and his reasoning for it. Why? Because they know he's right. You really want The White House, especially OMB and Elon Musk to get to decide which Federal programs are shut down and which aren't? The answer to that should be: "Oh hell no!" Or, feel free to use your own imagination.

I hate to break it to the far-left in America, but the U.S. Government is not the administration building at Columbia University, or any other preppy, Northeastern, elitist, university. You can't just shut it down and then go home, or go back to your dorm and wait for someone else to clean up your mess for you.

And if you shut down the government... sure, you can claim to be "badasses" and the coolest people on campus. But then what? The mainstream media and MAGA can't blame the Democrats for a government shutdown this week? Why? Because there isn't 1.

So what does the far-left do instead? They attack the Democratic leadership for not shutting down the government and call Chuck Schumer to be replaced, because he wouldn't shut down the government. And then they wonder why they're never in charge of anything serious and important, at least in Washington. But I've never wondered that.

The View: 'Gulf of the Price of Eggs' With Ana Navarro

"Navarro joins executive producer Brian Teta to weigh in on Pres. Trump naming himself the chair of the Kennedy Center, his plans to cut the Department of Education and she discusses her experience attending the Miami Heat Gala."

Source:The View with Ana Navarro & Brian Teta.

From The View

I must start off by saying (and I don't care who is offended and who thinks I'm a sexist for saying this) Ana Navarro is so adorable and funny. That little girly face and that adorable accent, is just too much and then she's so funny as well. She just cracks me up with her babydoll persona and sense of humor.

As far as the Super Bowl: I gave up that event full-time after the 2008 game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Phoenix Cardinals. It's no longer even a game, let alone a Super Bowl. It's a super, long, pop culture show, with a game somewhere in between, that's generally remembered for the halftime show or something. But not the game itself. But, I did see the highlights of the game... well, there was only 1 real highlight of that game. Actually, there were 2: President Donald Trump being booed at the freakin Super Bowl and leaving early because of that.

I went grocery shopping Wednesday in the Brookmont section of Montgomery County, Maryland, just outside of Washington, about 2 miles from my home. The Safeway at the Fort Sumner Center, is in an upper-middle-class neighborhood. It's a huge grocery store, easy for me to get to, and they had almost no eggs on their shelf. They have an entire section in that store just for their eggs, and that shelf was almost empty.

I could've swore that grocery prices and the price of eggs, was 1 of the reasons why Donald Trump was elected President again in 2024. And hearing about how grocery prices would fall on day 1 of Donald Trump's presidency. Next week, President Trump will have completed his 1st month of his presidency and there will still be an egg shortage in this country and grocery prices will be hire now, then the day he won the presidency in November.

But, when you only run for President of the United States just to stay out of Federal prison, avoid bankruptcy, complete your revenge tour from your first term that you promised  and you promised that you would be a dictator on day 1, I guess there are just more important things going on in your life, whether people can afford to buy groceries and not just eggs, and keeping the country protected from foreign adversaries. I mean the man has to know his priorities and average Americans are obviously not 1 of President Trump's priorities.
