Source:Lill McGill- This is about half of then Senator John F. Kennesdy's 1960 NY Liberal Party speech about being a Liberal. The other half is where he says: "that if being a Liberal means someone who believes in a superstate and where the Federal Government should be so big that state and local government's become unnecessary, and where individual initiative should be discouraged, then I'm not a Liberal." Today's so-called Liberals ( who are really closeted Socialists ) always partially quote JFK's quote about being a Liberal.
I use a picture of John F. Kennedy as my profile pic on social media for as a very good reason: I'm a center-right, John F. Kennedy, Liberal Democrat. The real Liberals who believe in the defense of liberal democracy and the fight against authoritarianism, left-wing or right-wing.

But I blog a lot about the Far-Left (or new-left, if you prefer) because I'm very interested in socialism and communism, as well as center-left progressivism, which is the real progressivism.
